A small note about this shop.

Most of my work exists as jewellery, exhibitions, writing and curatorial projects. The prints you find here come from a different part of my practice: drawing, collage, collecting images and making marks. If you visit the Sketchbook section of this website, you'll see that these activities are not separate from my work but are often where ideas first begin.

For a long time, these drawings and experiments remained in sketchbooks, folders and studio drawers. Then I came across a printing company whose attention to quality matched my own values. Their fine art papers, canvas prints and beautifully crafted Italian handmade frames convinced me that these works could exist beyond the page without losing their character.

There is also a practical reason for this shop. Sales help support my artistic and curatorial practice, allowing me to continue making work, organising projects, writing, researching and collaborating with others.

So, in a way, this shop is both a small extension of my studio and a way of helping sustain everything else that happens within it.

Thank you for being here.

— Vica

This piece is built from many small repeated marks spread across the surface like a quiet field. I was interested in how a simple gesture, repeated again and again, can begin to create movement and rhythm.
The small red mark in the corner appeared almost as a counterpoint — a single signal emerging from the larger field of marks. I like how it shifts the balance of the image and draws the eye toward the edge.
The work is intentionally simple. It leaves space for the viewer to move across the surface slowly, noticing how the pattern changes and where the image begins to breathe.
