This piece is built from many small repeated marks spread across the surface like a quiet field. I was interested in how a simple gesture, repeated again and again, can begin to create movement and rhythm. The small red mark in the corner appeared almost as a counterpoint — a single signal emerging from the larger field of marks. I like how it shifts the balance of the image and draws the eye toward the edge. The work is intentionally simple. It leaves space for the viewer to move across the surface slowly, noticing how the pattern changes and where the image begins to breathe. • Poly-cotton blend canvas with a matte/satin finish. Scratch, crack, and warp resistant. • Vibrant, long-lasting colours with water-based HP Latex inks and UV protection. • Solid wooden frame from renewable sources, 4 cm deep.
