A mixed-media collage composed of a found photograph, fragments of a newspaper text strip and a paper tag. The elements are layered to create a small, object-like composition.
The newspaper fragment contains words such as “imposter,” “shy,” “proud,” and “beacon.” In its original context, the sentence likely described a person with mixed qualities — someone who might feel like an imposter, while also being shy and proud at the same time, and somehow becoming a beacon, a visible example or symbol.
Because the text is cut into fragments, it now reads almost like a list of psychological traits rather than a complete sentence. Removed from its original context, the text becomes part of the visual composition, accompanying the figure and suggesting a character without fully revealing the story.
