This work began with a simple photograph of a face. I started to interrupt the image with small gestures — strips of yellow tape crossing the eyes and a drawn hand appearing beside the head. These interventions partly hide the face, but they also create new ways of looking at it. The collage plays with ideas of visibility and interruption: what we choose to show, what we hide, and how small marks can completely change the way we read an image. I like the tension between the softness of the photograph and the directness of the added elements. The result feels a little playful, a little unsettling — like a moment where an image starts to question itself. • Acid- and lignin-free and made to last. • The natural finish enhances vibrancy and depth. • Textured matte surface that enhances depth without losing clarity. • Handmade wooden frame from Italy.
