This piece began with very physical marks — scratching, dragging and pressing black pigment across the surface. I wanted the image to feel almost like a trace of movement or energy left behind. Later, I added the small coloured circles. They sit quietly inside the more chaotic field of marks, almost like signals or points of focus emerging from the noise. I like the tension between these two elements: the rough gestures and the calm, simple shapes. The work keeps the feeling of that process — direct, slightly unpredictable, and open to interpretation. • Poly-cotton blend canvas with a matte/satin finish. Scratch, crack, and warp resistant. • Vibrant, long-lasting colours with water-based HP Latex inks and UV protection. • Solid wooden frame from renewable sources, 4 cm deep.
