SWEAT AND TEARS… CRYSTALLISED
Interview with Judit Fritz
Judit’s work is a mixture of science, fantasy and poetry. In her art, the connection between human life and nature emerges in a very unique way. The closer we look, the more similar we are. This equality captivates the viewer’s imagination; it invites us to see ourselves from a different angle.

KONTRAPUNKT NO.2: Permission to Speak
Kontrapunkt Collective, 2024
Permission to Speak is the first major publication by Kontrapunkt Collective, an international group of four jewellery artists exploring the relationship between individual and collective artistic practice. Developed alongside the collective's second exhibition project of the same name, the publication functions as both a catalogue and a research document, examining collaboration as a creative methodology.
Through essays, reflections and documentation, the publication investigates themes of trust, dialogue, authorship and shared decision-making, while considering the role of audiences and exhibition spaces within collective artistic processes. Bringing together multiple voices and perspectives, Permission to Speak offers insight into the collective's ongoing research into collaboration, contemporary jewellery and alternative modes of artistic production.
